Trauma Life Support in Motorsport (TLSiM) is a special training programme for the professional care of severely injured patients at motor sport events.
In theoretical and practical units, knowledge about the rescue of injured drivers and the medical treatment of motor sport-specific injuries is imparted to the participants. Realistic simulations of accident scenarios performed with dummies are used to train the experts for real-life situations.
The TLSiM programme is aimed at emergency doctors and rescue service staff who work at the race track.
