The Medical Car is an integral part of the medical services. It is manned with an experienced emergency physician (Medical Car Doctor) and emergency paramedics or paramedics who also act as drivers (Paramedic).
This ensures an even more efficient first aid at the scene of an accident. Accordingly, one of the requirements for working as a Medical Car Doctor is a corresponding medical training (medical specialist) with practical experience in rescue services and at the race track. Paramedics must be appropriately qualified as paramedics and additionally have completed a driving course.
